The Natural Eye Bursary Project

In July 2021 I was awarded a Natural Eye Bursary from the Society fo Wildlife Artists (SWLA) to learn the technique of stone lithography at Highland Print Studio, Inverness. 

The starting point for my project was the experience of lockdown and observations of wildlife on daily walks along the River Ness, Merkinch Nature Reserve and Caledonian Canal. Below are a selection of preliminary drawings in pencil. watercolour and conté.
