Life Drawings

I do as much Life Drawing as possible and have attended regular evening classes and weekend workshops since 2017, using a variety of media including ink, pencil, charcoal and pastel.  Even if you're drawing something fantastical, the eye, heart and mind of the reader has to believe it, so understanding the underlying structure of the body is essential. Equally important are the energy, presence and emotional state of the sitter. Human beings communicate so much through body language and the psychological aspect of drawing- or making what is unsaid visible, has always fascinated me.
